Hello fellow hunters. I have a question for you. I've just moved here from Alaska and was wondering if there is anything in Oregon/Washington (and surrounding states) that might call for a lesser grain 458 win mag. The 458 has mainly been used for African safari and thick hides in Alaska. What do you guys think? Thanks in advance.

I suppose you could use it on elk or bear. Just tell everyone it's a .45-70 when they see the muzzle so you won't be embarrassed by having something that large in the field. ;)

should be plenty for whatever you run into around here unless they are more than 200 yds. out.
