Good condition, cleaned after each use. Not original owner, round count unknown. Functions and shoots flawlessly.
The original thumbhole stock has been replaced with a pistol grip and skeleton stock with left-folding hinge. The original polymer hand guard has been replaced with a Midwest Industries quad rail. The barrel has been threaded and a slant brake installed. It still has the original Chinese AK47-style double hook trigger, so 922(r) compliance calls for US magazines (or US floor plates and followers in foreign magazines).
Chinese-pattern AK rifles are popular worldwide, but Chinese imports into the US ended in 1994 (the year this rifle was imported). The MAK-90 features a blend of AK-47 and AKM patterns with an extra thick stamped receiver and hooded front sights.
Also included:
• An extra 20-round US-made ProMag polymer magazines (two total, additional magazines available)
• Original Dragunov-style polymer thumbhole stock and fore grip. US-made by Fiberforce. Not installed.
US-made parts:
1. Hogue OverMolded pistol grip
2. Midwest Industries quad rail fore grip
3. Skeleton stock, recoil pad, ACE side-folder hinge (14.75" length of pull, folds left)
4. CNC Warrior slant brake (barrel has been threaded)
5-7. 20 round polymer ProMag (magazines count as three parts: mag body, floor plate, follower)
Original Chinese parts:
1. Receiver (stamped, slant-cut: see photos)
2. Barrel
3. Bolt
4. Bolt carrier
5. Gas piston
6. Front trunnion
7. Hammer
8. Trigger
9. Disconnector
PM if interested.
