Maybe they'll actually put better texture on their frames this time around.

Terrible precedent. I'm surprised California has this much sway over Glock. Maybe they're trying to get ahead of more states following suit, e.g. Seattle also recently sued Glock

I understand the lawsuit thing. But as a practical matter, isn't this measure in the nature of closing the barn doors after the horses have run away? Meaning, there are so many millions of Glocks out there with the evil feature already. Is changing the design going to make the country safer now with all the previous models in circulation? The lawsuits won't go away; those are based on complaints re. the original design.

If a big spike in price on original design guns does occur, considering the sheer number of such guns around, I wouldn't expect it to be deep or long.

Glock cares only about their bottom line and reputation. The American 2A means very little to an Austrian company.

Last I read, I think New Jersey and Illinois are both suing Glock over the ability to accept Switches?

Money over everything. This move is already hurting their reputation and nobody even knows anything about the "V" version yet.

I'm speaking of course of the reputation of being sued out the butt by States over a design thing. Not that they're apparently the favorite brand for LE and criminals at the same time

This whole thing is stupid. I dont get a major gun mfg caving to anti gun pressure. I get that they are not a US company but dang if US civilian sales are not a major factor in their sales and sucess. it baffles me how gun manufacturers are so clueless about whats a gun rights issue.... how many designs is Glock going to drop everytime someone mods their gun?

Well they sure got scarce quickly. Here at Spokane's only good gun store, every one of our suppliers was reporting "0" in stock of most Glocks by about 1pm yesterday.
