Walked into Woodland Guns and Ammo looking for a DA .44 Magnum and found an almost perfect condition deep blued S&W Model 29-5 Classic for sale on consignment. No holster wear, light turn ring, tight lock up, no end shake, timing good, amazing trigger. Let's just say the price was lovely as well. Can't wait to take it out in the next couple of days. I've bought several guns at WG&A and really like the shop and the owner. Worth a short trip up I-5 anytime, IMHO.

Yeah, but now I have to go buy .44 Mag dies, find some appropriate powder, locate some brass, buy bullets, etc. Those little nuisances went right out of my head when I saw this thing sitting in the case. It was a good day.

Don't forget a holster and at least one speedloader!
    Sweet!

It actually came with three speedloaders! Holster is next up. Taking a trip to the back country in Glacier National Park next month and plan on toting it along.
