Howdy all -

Not entirely sure about parting ways with this even, but wanted to see what interest there was and what might get offered up in trade. What I have is a brand new, unfired, Springfield GI 1911 in .45, 5" barrel, parkerized, "GI" marked wood grips, green Springfield clamshell case with factory gray plastic holster and dual mag pouch and "Loaded" coupon, 3 mags, (the one 7-rounder it came with, an 8-round Kimber mag and a 7 round Kimber mag), a GI-style web belt, GI-style brown leather flap holster, a Korean-war vintage dual mag pouch, and an old used K-Bar with leather sheath. Pretty much a complete rig to go play GI Joe. I bought the gun and rig for it on a whim at the gun show in Rickreal a couple weeks ago, with the intention of using it as a "woods gun" rig while out cutting firewood, camping, etc. However, after re-evaluating my collection, I've pretty much decided I've already got (a couple) better set ups for that purpose, and even though I really like it, I'm just not really sure what role this 1911 would play in my collection.

What I'd really like in trade is a detachable mag rifle of some sort, ideally an AK. Would love a fixed up AK with polymer furniture, NATO length stock, some mags, etc. Would consider a straight across trade for a nice AK package, or a lesser AK + cash. Would certainly consider other detachable mag rifle offers as well, Mini-14/30, basic AR, etc, and could add some cash on my end for the right deal. I value this package at roughly $700. Certainly willing to at least consider any other trade offers. Pics available upon request. Thanks!

***Edit - Added some super crummy camera phone pictures. BTW, after finally reading how to add pics on here, it really is easy and we all should be doing it in our for sale ads. :)
