SOLD PENDING FUNDS!
For Sale: S&W Model 60 Stainless (not Airweight) .357 Magnum Revolver.
This is a brand new, unfired, Smith and Wesson J-Frame Model 60-14 (not branded as "Lady Smith) stainless steel five-shot .357 Magnum revolver with a 2 1/8" barrel. I put this on layaway on Budsgunshop.com back in July, then decided I wanted a larger framed revolver. It was either pay it off and sell it or just let my layaway deposit go.
I just picked it up yesterday (August 23) from Clark County Gunsmithing, where I had it shipped. I have proof to that effect if you want to see it, just not online since it contains the serial number. It's an amazingly solid gun with a great double action trigger and an even more amazing single action pull. This is a solid steel revolver, not an Airweight, that is fully capable of handling .357 Magnum loads without bloodying your hands in the process. It's nevertheless amazingly slim and hides effortlessly.
These revolvers generally run new from $575 to over $600 and by the time you add tax and transfer fees you're approaching $650-675. I'm letting it go for $545 to fund the purchase of a S&W Model 27. This is a pretty rare opportunity in my opinion, arising solely from my stupidity in putting a gun on layaway I wasn't really sure I wanted to buy. It does have the internal lock that all new S&W revolvers have. I don't worry about it, but if you do this can be disabled pretty simply and there are fitted plugs to hide the small hold above the release if you want to pretend it's not really there.
Please respond by private message. No lowball offers, please. This is a great deal. FTF sale only to WA residents with WA DL and CHL.
