HI I am Margaret and live in Tacoma, for the time being...
I have been a firearms enthusiast since the age of 10, over the years I have owned many different firearms, love shooting it is just hard to find the time. I am a member or Tacoma Rifle and Revolver, should go more often.
To keep up on trigger time I shoot PCP, they are inexpensive to soot, quiet and amazingly accurate!
This is me after not getting any sleep for 38 hours. What I carry daily :)

Welcome Aboard. Glad you found the forum.

This is the best place to hang out on the internet.

Once we're able to start using the public lands again, check out the organized clean ups. It's the best way to meet the community and learn where and how to use public lands responsibly.

[Edit- We are doing non ODFW supported cleanups at public forests] - check the North Fork Wolf Creek Road thread in resources.

Until then check out Trash No Land.

Welcome! Hope you found some time to get some zzzzzz's. You looked pretty tired and wired. But hey, tyranny never sleeps, so thanks!

Thank you for sharing! I have always been a take out more than you brought in type. So far this is much better than Public Data for Real Property, and the North West Multiple listings!
I appreciate the welcome :)

It has just been a bit chaotic with work, a litter of puppies and life in general. I am an independent Certified Residential Appraiser. The amount of sales and refinances are insane, ran up against a few complex homes with a short delivery window, so no sleep and enough coffee to give a methhead the jitters ;) Allowed me to be back on par with work.

Yay, another redhead!! Just like I used to be, once....sigh

Here in UK we can't carry, but I like your choice. :s0144:

PS - in case of confunglement, I'm the taller of the two in the avatar. NOT the one with my paw in the chocolate beans.

My mother's hair did not fade or turn white until she was in her 80's, my younger brother has nearly white hair in his mid 50's, I guess lack of children and a high stress job has kept me looking OKAY for now.
On the carry I do change it up time to time, have a Sig Nightmare 1911, a Dan Wesson Vbob, and a pair of Pythons (2020's) in 4 & 6. In the woods depending where I am at hand gun will be a model 29, model 27, DE in 50ae, Ruger Alaskan 454, or a S&W 617 that I bought in 1990. I have not fired the BFR yet, hard to find 45-70 and I have kept that for my Henry.

Yay! Another NWFA member who shoots real handguns. Oops. I mean revolvers.

I don't have anything against plastic wonders in theory. In practice those I've bought haven't lasted long before getting sold because, turns out, I don't shoot light guns well. Even my EDC, "Buddy", is a SW 686 snubby. Also, every time I go into a gun store planning to buy a plastic wonder some really glorious revolver whispers seductively before I even reach the plastic section. Last time it was "Thumper", a 9.5" Super Redhawk .44. I didn't go in thinking I needed a 9.5" .44, but what he whispered I wouldn't wanna tell ya with all these guys around.

It might amaze you to learn that I, too, have a .45-70 Govt rifle here in UK - not a handgun, I'm afraid. Even more amazing to learn that it is NOT legal to shoot game with it.

I have gone to look also at plastic guns, came home with a S&W custom shop 629 custom shop piece that was MagnaPorted and a Ruger Alaskan same day. The BFR came when helping out at Mary's Pistols in Tacoma, a man came in with a bunch of estate firearms to sell... Mary did not want it, but same thing he talked to me in a way few others have.
My first edc was a S&W air weight, stopped carrying it after an encounter with a pair of "Pit Bulls" went to a compact 1911 .45 after that. I started carrying after my first encounter with a PWT SOB and his Pit, still have scars from it, the dog died of lead injection from the neighbor across from the home I was appraising. *sigh*

I would have never known :( I know they even regulate air guns to what is it sub 12 fpe unless you have a fire arms license. I love the 45-70 thinking of taking it to SA on a hunt when thing clear up. Won an auction at a friends of the NRA dinner for a 7 day hunt for four with two minor antelope species per hunter. Hope to go next July or August, or April/May the PH said either would be a good time.
