I'd the only thing different the barrel length and an insignia? Depending on price I'm not sure it is worth extra for what is basically a cut barrel and laser engraving.

It's a great idea for a 22LR host. If you already have a MK4, Volquartsen sells a 3.5" threaded upper with sights for $100.00 every once in awhile. That is the route I went.
