I am new here, buy not to shooting. I learned to shoot in Nebraska and I am glad I am not there anymore. I enjoy longer range shooting with my 6.5 Creedmoor, but shooting smaller calibers is fun too. Thanks for having me.

What was not so great in Nebraska? The weather. Summers were hot and humid and winters got very cold. Tornados anyone? The place is very flat. I grew up in California and enjoyed the coastal range and the Sierra Nevada mountains. The beach wasn't a bad place to visit either.

Welcome.

I used to work with an old warrant officer who at one time worked at the Creedmoor State Mental Hospital in Queens, NYC. Later when I saw reference to 6.5 Creedmoor, I wondered if there was any connection. It turns out there is. The mental hospital was built on the site originally occupied by the Creedmoor rifle range. The company that developed the cartridge took their name from the rifle range.
