Hi Everyone!

Andrew from NoPo here. Joined mostly because I just inherited a couple of firearms: a .22 Beretta pistol and a .460 Weatherby rifle. It's reassuring to know that I can now deal with any tactical situation that may arise, provided it involves either a mouse or a hippopotamus. However, I'll probably be looking to sell the Weatherby through the classified section in order to buy something a little more...reasonable, so any advice you folks have about doing that would be very welcome and appreciated.

Well, somebody got to your local stretch of the Willamette before you, 'cos I've never clapped eyes on a hippo of any persuasion for all the years I've been looking at it.

Mrs tac, my bride of 50 years and six days, and I are annual visitists to Portland and places South, and hope that you continue to thrive in good health, in spite of it all.

We live on the edge of the Fens in rural East Anglia, UK - a landscape that makes Nebraska look like the Wallowas. I still shoot - a lot - but Mrs tac no longer does.
