I found a Colt Python at the Vancouver gun show this weekend. And I bought it. It's an 8" blue with factory Ellaison sights and action job. (I've had two before in 6") This one had a stiff cylinder giving it a stiff DA trigger pull. I sprayed some Amzoil spray in the cylinder shaft and the pivot shaft, and it freed up quite a bit. I'm thinking it had a rough owner with too much WD40 laying around.
The gun has Pachmeyer grips, which I don't really care for. Any suggestions on a nice grip for it? I'm thinking Hogue wood grips.
BTW, It was $900.:s0164:
