Just came in , slapped on a can and grabbed some of my usual loads... there were gauges in the drawer that of course I didn't use.
Forgive the stacked adapters, better solutions are on the way. Being a 45 can no baffles were harmed.

The part in the middle that's sticking up is where the primer was trying to push itself into the firing pin channel, I believe. Looks like higher than normal pressure to me

Agreed.
The primer edges aren't square but that's a certainly some extrusion. I'll drop a NOGO in and see. Never seen any of this till this barrel and the suppressor. IIRC it was 5gn of unique

It could be a prime example of increasing pressure dwell time and Glocks odd unsupported primer bolt face.
Rifle and just about any other firearm -"the firing pin hole needs 0.00x max clearance.
Glock "let's make it look like beer tabs!".

Doesn't look like the firing pin on any Glock I've ever seen. Did any generations ever come with a round firing pin?
The firing pin certainly is typical glock square. It reformed the primer so hard it pushed out most of the indentation.

One would think if it was serious OP I'd see bulges. Tomorrow I'll see what the HS gauges say.

doesn't look over pressure to me. looks unsupported. i've seen much worse looking fired primers from glocks and other striker type pistols, but that did not slow down their owners. (i don't own a glock and all my pistols have hammers)
i'd wear safety glasses.

GO chambers, NOGO does not lock up. Chrono d my "hot" loads , 1100-1150 FPS. Yanked a bullet 5.0 grains of Unique.
Suppressed or not same signs.
I did have 1 lighter load that chrono d 1050 and it didn't extrude the primer.

Took some Browning target ammo down , 1250fps typical primer signs.

Measured like 0.002 of case bulge, typical fired brass imho.

is it possible that your handloads are too hot for one gun (actually chamber) but not another? Im assuming there are tolerances in chamber dimensions that would allow this possibility while still being in saami spec?

I can tell by the primer strikes it's a gen 5 striker. It's not the regular thin tip striker... and the striker isn't the problem in this case. Looks like some really thin primer cups.

It's between Sammi GO and NoGo lengths.
It's getting great ejection. Every once in a while it has a FTF so it could be a little tight.
I wrote it off as JHP issues. Round nose no problem.
I'm sure the factory barrel is way looser.
I might have a production grade finish reamer, it's been the fix for tight chambers.
