Well I went and did it.

I have always wanted a sxs break barrel sbs. It is a Stevens 311H. 12.5 barrel. It's a lot handier now.

That's cool you went ahead and SBS'd it. A shorty double is on my bucket list too. And even though you don't get the MadMax cool points, I'm glad you kept the stock I bet that makes it much more shootable.

I had a 311 (sold it because it was my only 16 gauge, didn't need yet another round to stock) Very robust designs, about as mechanically simple as you can make a double barrel action. I'd totally pick one up again (in 12g)
