Nepalese Brunswick Rifle...Antique
Circa 1840's - 1860s.
16 gauge smooth bore.
Bore is very good…no pitting....hooked breech for easy cleaning.
Back action percussion lock....Lock is secure at both half and full cock.
Genuine tree wood stock…guessing teak.
Stock is in very good shape.
Some dents and dings …No major cracks or splitting.
Brass furniture and steel ram rod.
V notch rear sight.
Originally designed as a rifle…
This version was made as a smooth bore for issue to Indian troops.
Shootable gun…I have gotten grouse with this gun.
I have shot targets , using this gun with lead round ball.
Looking to trade for:
Uberti 1860 revolver
Flintlock or percussion Northwest Tradegun
Older .22 bolt action rifle
20 gauge shotgun
JM marked Marlin 336 in .30-30
If anyone was crazy enough to do so...

Edit to add...
Yes , I am aware that IMA has these same firearms for sale at $325 -$595
However....
Mine is cleaned...and ready to use...unlike theirs.
Also...You can see mine live and in person so to speak...
As opposed to ordering one...waiting...only to find out , that you don't like what you see / bought.
