Hey there, I grew up with airguns and bb guns but have been out of the loop for years on their current qualities.
I need some recommendations for a pellet pistol that can deliver a fatal shot to rats. My current red rider doesn't have the energy needed to dispatch them.
Would prefer a C02 powered semi auto pellet pistol that is under 300$
Are there any out there that will fit the bill?

have you entertained the idea of a .22 with the quiet ammunition.
I use my bolt gun with the cci quiet. It shoots as fast as you rack the bolt and it is quiet.
this is unsupressed.
if you want a pistol i'd get a ruger wrangler. they can go for pretty cheap.
modern pellet guns are cool. but they sure as heck aren't cheap.

Hi, a good break barrel will work with iron sites or scope. find one that produces a minimum of 12 ft lbs. 24 ft lbs is better if you want to hunt other small game. PCP=pre charge pneumatic air rifle if you chose to do so. Do some research before buying.
