Did Burt Christopherson retire? His number is no longer in service.
I need to have a pinned front sight/gas block removed and replaced with a low profile one on my Ruger AR-556. Prefer close in west side (I live near Council Crest).

Burt moved back to Nebraska to take care of his elderly mom.

You can shave off the top portion of your gas block and that way you don't have to buy another to replace it with.

As stated above, Burt and Sandy moved back to Nebraska over a year ago, to be closer to their granddaughter and his mom. Bummer. He was my FFL and gunsmith. More importantly, he is a friend and decent man.

Yes, a bummer for sure. He was my FFL also and did some work on my 1911 Commander. A really great guy and VERY reasonable for his work and transfers.
