It's hard to see but it does look like there's something where the Waffenamt stamp is on others posted online. The serial prefix looks like a C; if it is then it's within the range of Nazi-occupation ones as long as the range I got from a quick google (B701A-D4550A) is correct. It could maybe be an E which would be outside the range.

Very hard to find ammo. Starline has made brass and you can use 110gr 308 bullets. I think a person could make 30 super carry brass work in a pinch.Can't remember where but I saw ammo for that. It's an odd caliber.
Yep it is backorderable at the moment and at a decent price too. I am guessing whoever ends up with that pistol is going to be storing it rather than shooting it.Starline makes brass for the French long.
