Mystery Barrel Identification.

This would be a decent deal if it was a Rainier Arms Ultra Match Barrel or just a Rainier Arms match barrel. Originally when @bpearce listed it, he identified the barrel as a Rainier Arms barrel.

The current seller is unsure of barrel specs and can't locate any barrel markings.

Rifle uppers 18 and 20

Got both in trade , unknown round count No bolt carriers or charge handle Rock river 18" w/ carbon fiber handguard. Got this for the stainless barrel but broke a bit off in a screw head on handguard 🤬 don't have patience to mess with it, can’t verify but was told that it is rock river...

Maybe some help from Rainer website. The "RMC" and the TiN extension seem to be pretty consistent with the UM barrels.

Did you try to answer this yourself or are you squirrel-sourcing this?

I can get a lot infromation by simple Google search.

For your purposes match or ultra match is a meaningless distinction. Nickle vs dime sized groups won't matter in the land of cheap AR builds.

The current seller was able to confirm the extension is not gold in color. Supposedly the old Shilen blanks had an S stamped on them? Barrel markings and locations seem to have changed over the years.

I did see a barrel marked 223 Wylde S at the muzzle.

That was likely a Shilen barrel, hard to find these days.

I have a Gen 1 Rainer UM 18" SPR barrel.
It's a really good barrel, Shilen ratchet rifled and a SS extension.
Highly recommended those barrels as I know of a few of them and they all shoot well.
