This is a fantastic suggestion!

Was at Sportsman's earlier & a buyers license didn't have there current address.

The guncounter guy suggested doing just the above to the customer. He went up front to buy a shell fish license, then came back to complete the 4473. So must have worked!

Took him just a few minutes to do the license - I was 17 in the BGC queu at the time, and he was back just as I cleared & paid.
Someone said current mail or vehicle registration is fine as long as it has the current address. We will call before hand

Go on to ODFW's site and walk your mom through purchasing a shell fish license she will add her OR DL/ID #, soc. and current address, check out, print her shell fish license and she can give that along with her id to the FFL to make copies of and that covers everybodies a$$.
Yeah don't think my Mom would do that. She updated her address with the DMV online and some people have said current mail or a vehicle registration with the current address works. We will call before hand.

Hello everyone. My Dad passed away a month ago and my Mother and Myself are looking to sell his guns. He had a number of them a mix of everything. I am sorry I don't have a lot of details regarding each gun, but have looked them up and tried to find used values for them all which are listed with each gun. I think they are accurate prices, but some of the guns I am guessing are older generations maybe because they do look slightly different then some photos I have found. We really want to get the best price for these guns this is basically my Dad's savings and we need the money. I am following the rules and have made multiple listing based on type(Rifle, Handgun, Shotgun) so I have three listings running.

My Mother and I are completely new to this including the process of having them registered to a new owner, also from what we know my Dad did have all or at least most of the guns registered in his name. He was a CCP holder in multiple states. Lastly these guns are used, but are very close to brand new my Dad didn't use them much and got much sicker/weaker in his life so he wasn't even able to use them much. They are basically brand new with barely any use other then to calibrate or get them targeted correctly.

Here is a list of the guns:

Glock Pistol $360

Glock Pistol $360

Bersa BP9CC $160

Taurus Pistol $250

Springfield XD-45 $280

Springfield XD-45 $280

Springfield 1911 $550

Taurus TX22 .22La $250

Ruger Redhawk Magnum .44 $739

Also I don't think photos are posting with my classified though I uploaded some. Below is a link to my Google Drive that has about 15 photos of all the guns we are selling. Again we have Rifles, Handguns and a Shotgun.... and the rules say we have to have a separate listing for each type of gun. I am sure having one for every single gun is much more thorough, helpful and even saves time, but I am sorry I am just going with what I got and listing everything together by type. The Google Drive link below is safe and has photos of all the guns, not many so if you want more photos of a particular gun let me know.

Again we really want to get a fair price for these guns, we hope to find a buyer that wants to buy used for a gun they want to keep/use and are looking for a fair used price....not really a reseller or dealer that wants 50-60% off so they can resell them for more. Thanks for looking and taking the time.

i beg your finest pardon but in the pictures i saw what seem to be a slightly rusted Revolver? but no where in any of the ads is it for sale. at least what i could find. is the family keeping said revolver or is it already spoken for prior to posting?

Is the safe for sale? And is the Glock in the second to last picture still available? What model is the Glock if it is available?
The Glock with the tac six light is a Gen 3 23. The Gen 5 MOS with the unmarked light and optic is a 19. That's what I was able to zoom in on with my PC. Not sure if you're trying to narrow it down with a mobile phone browser. Last I heard from the OP, the mother who is legal owner of the lot was shopping out consigment or possibly having an FFL buyout the collection. I speculated in a PM with the OP that him and his mom could become easily overwhelemed with the onslaught of forum members flooding his threads and inbox. I'm advocating they consider those two options. Worst case scenario, who would want to drive back and forth to an FFL to meet a potential buyer, let them inspect then private transfer for just one gun. Not to mention there's going to be a few tire kickers and flakes in the mix. I feel for families that are dealing with loss and having to take on monmumental tasks to purge loved ones belongings. I've been through it to many times.

I agree with 40Garand. I've been a member on this site for some time and while I've mostly had good experiences selling firearms it can be very time consuming to meet with people at an FFL to let them sometimes buy the firearm.

I used to work for Lincoln City Sporting Goods (not to far from you) and know they will take in estates of multiple firearms. They do consignment and also place listings on Gunbroker.com. Yes they will charge you a fee but sometimes with a large estate it is worth it to save time and headaches.

I'm sorry about the loss of your Father. I hope your able to sell the estate for a fair price.
