MSA Gear / firefighter gear?

I'm out of my element, I don't have any practical use for it so no reason to keep it. Tried to get the valve back on the tank but it leaks, I don't want to accidentally damage anything.

No knowledge of it but from what I can Google lens, it's SCBA gear from MSA.

As for condition, all I can say is the mask lens is scratched. My pictures won't do it justice but will try better pics upon request.

I bought it off a character on McLoughlin Blvd for the "air horn" Jerry rigged to it haha.

I can't really put a price on it, I have no idea of value. Figured y'all were good folks and someone will tell me, if it holds value I'll sell it for the kids Christmas, if it's not that much I'll just trade for a TAPS chest rig good condition. Thanks in advance

If it functions it's probably several 1000$ worth(5~ retail). You could take it to a fire station and ask them to show you how it works/check it out...is the leak from the tank or the regulator? If it's at the regulator there is a valve that if it's open will sound like a leak... you could go to a dive shop and have them check the tank and maybe fill it but it depends on the last hydro test date. I forget how long the test is good for(retired 12/2017).
