I have an 1943 M38 Mosin Nagant for sale or trade.
Condition: The metal is in good condition, small amounts of surface rust that could be blasted away with some oil and steel wool. Might get around to it myself. The barrel is fantastic and shiny, nice lands and grooves. The stock on this looks like someone slammed it into the ground. Broken at the wrist, I highly doubt this is fixable to be shoot worthy. If you just want a display piece, it can be fixed and cleaned up nicely since the major crack is on the left side. See pictures. If you want to shoot this rifle, you will need a new stock. Its also missing the top handguard and front sight blade. New stock sets on ebay can still be had for around $100. It does come with a trigger, I just dont have it installed at the moment.
The bolt in this gun is worth $90 by itself, and the rest of the gun is worth at least $100. Mosins arent cheap anymore, please no lowball offers. Im willing to work on things, especially with trades involved, but actually make an offer, dont ask me what my "lowest price" is.
Asking for $215 or best offer, you pay transfer fee. Willing to ship if you pay actual shipping costs (for this rifle, around $45-55).
For trades, I'm always interested in ammo (8mm, 7.5 swiss, 303 british, 7.62x54r, 7.62x51, 9mm, 5.56/223), and other military surplus firearms or milsurp gun parts. At the moment, I'm specifically looking for M39 and other finnish Mosin nagant rifles, Enfield No1 Mk3's, Enfield No4 Mk1 and Mk2 rifles, Enfield M1917 and P14 rifles, Springfield 1903 variants, Berthier, Carcano, or lebel rifles. Im interested in most WWII and earlier rifles or pistols. I particularly enjoy gunsmith specials, fixer uppers, sporterized (but no cut barrels) weapons as well, so offer them up!
I also currently have 30 cal cans of australian 7.62 NATO on bandoleers, 200rds each can available for trade towards a rifle or pistol
