I have a original Mole trap gun that is being sold as antique show piece. These were uses to eliminate moles and still leagal to use outside the city limits for non protected earth burrowing mammals as per ORS. These are very hard to find and would make a wonderfull collection piece for display. All is intact and in very good condition with the exception that I removed the firing pin, so at this time its not operational due to missing firing pin.

My grandpa used to use these till he decided to go maintenance them one day and damn near lost his hand. The trap ended up in a lake and my grandpa got to keep the pellets in his hand lol

Yep, can be dangerous. I have 3 and have been using them for 20 years with no issues.

I don't doubt it. This incident was completely at fault of the user because he didn't bother unloading it as well as having his hand in front of the muzzle
