1-8 will give you more versatility if you want to run smaller (less than 55grain) bullets.. 1-7 stabilizes the bigger bullets better.

Both PRI and Centurion are very high quality.

In fact the PRI upper is an exact recreation of the Mod 0 using the same components. Both contract with the government.
