MG tripod ID help

Hey folks, just a humble pistol shooter dropping into the cool kids crowd. Hey, I picked up this Aluminum MG tripod at an estate sale recently, but I can't quite tell what gun it's for. Any ideas? I don't think it's homemade, looks too good for that, but it could be. The table it's in is 4'x4'. Currently it's going to be a mount for a little smoker I built, they share similar aesthetics, and I should probably take it off my bumper. Cheers

That is cool. Are there any markings on it? It looks to be home made, but I could be wrong.

Looks most like a mount for a .30 cal Browning, but not exactly.

No markings. After looking more, my guess is leaning towards homemade. My thoughts said browning, but the tripod lacks a few things that I see online. A few give aways with hardware choices. Regardless, smoker should look cool on it. Thanks for the brain power. I'll post a pic once the smoker is mounted.
