Join the #1 community for gun owners of the Northwest
We believe the 2nd Amendment is best defended through grass-roots organization, education, and advocacy centered around individual gun owners. It is our mission to encourage, organize, and support these efforts throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming.
now I am curious, are you talking the gate at the memaloose bridge, or somewhere else, or just posted? I was up hillock burn road side yest and saw no postings, but we could not make it over to the pits.
guys went up to memaloose any way just to see if it was closed . 11am not posted closed lots of snow 1 car was chaining up to other car stuck. the ranger said it was closed for 6weeks maybe its going to happen soon.
some forest agent guy was tagging, with marker paint.for the loggers, he said they were go to thin out, meaning clear cut-timber sale.for 6weeks that blows.he did not know if they were go to close road
Was there on Sunday, 25 MAR, one inch of snow. Road closed at about 3/4 from bridge to quarry for logging. Bring a chain saw, numerous trees down across the road, limited shoulder area to pass because of deep snow and trees cut too close to side of road.
