Medium time lurker, first time poster

Like the title says, been lurking for a while while and figured it was finally time to take the leap. The wife and I moved To Bend about 5 years ago, mostly for the mountain biking, skiing, etc. Former NRA high power competitor (back when I could still see iron sights), but shooting mostly for fun lately. Wife got involved with the LadyHawks out at COSSA and decided to become an instructor, so I re-upped my cert as well. Now just need to figure out how much time and money we want to commit to teaching. Also thinking of jumping into practical shooting as another hobby, but time will tell.

Thanks for the welcome. I work with PLS Bend (www.plsbend.org) cleaning up areas around the county. I think a rep from Trash No Land was at one of our cleanups earlier this summer. Always happy to see any groups out there making a difference. The homeless camps are the worst, but the trash at all the local shooting sites is even more depressing and inexcusable. Every time I shoot at a local spot, I end up hauling out a contractor bag or 2 of shot up trash some idiot left behind.
