Join the #1 community for gun owners of the Northwest
We believe the 2nd Amendment is best defended through grass-roots organization, education, and advocacy centered around individual gun owners. It is our mission to encourage, organize, and support these efforts throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming.
Yea, I'm keeping my 357, it's such a handy rifle and I love shooting it. I can't keep 357 ammo in the house, as soon as I buy it, I need to shoot it. I'd only let that one go for close to a grand. I tried the rossi 357, and was not a fan. I've owned close to a dozen lever actions over the years and it's by far my favorite of all time.
Only reason I'm interested in a 39a a is for the takedown feature and I haven't had one yet, and I probably won't keep it either as I have the ruger and really like it too! Not as smooth as the marlin but fun plinker.
