Barrel Length and year of manufacture? (I was recently disappointed to see new Weatherbys with 24" barrels).

It has a 24" barrel, burns all the powder, if Weatherby thinks 24" is good than I trust it, they have made high quality rifles for a very long time, but it would not hurt my feelings if it had a 26" barrel.Although I have 3 older Weatherbys that were made in west Germany that all have 24" barrels. I think it's the newer ones that have the 26". not sure of the date of manufacture, it was made in Japan
