Im a little confused. MAK90's never came with that type buttstock. They were thumbholes. It's not iron wood.
Just stock Mak 90
All I know is that it fits a MAk 90 and its never been modified to fit the 1.5 mm receiverIt's not iron wood.
Just stock Mak 90
you didnt read his previous post.It looks to be aftermarket based on the wood. MAk's are 1.5! So what you are saying, if im getting this right is its for an eastbloc AK, probably a 74, and can be whittled down to fit a MAK. ???
His post says NEVER modified to fit 1.5mm, Chi-com AK, receiver. MAK90 is a modified type 56S rifle-so same 1.5mm reciever. Since he said NOT modified I assumed it was a AK74 set based on the longer stock insert-for lack of a better term.you didnt read his previous post.
he said it fits his mak 90...it will be loose on normal akm/ak74
this looks aftermarket
pre ban Chinese furniture would be blonde, likely a checkered pistol grip with metal ferrule cut and different wood species.
some had the bayonet cut and
some didnt
looks like this handgaurd is also missing the metal furrule
...real pre ban/spiker norinco furniture is getting rare and expensive...
I could be wrong though to...
I think you made a pretty good deal as the Ironwood Designs sets are closer to $300delivered.I'll take it.
