Just trace back the firearm, via ser #.

It hurts to see that group of shotguns sitting there awaiting their destruction. I've got an idea! I could host a gun giveback event. It's not really giving them back, because I never owned them, but I'll take them just the same and "get rid of them", ammo too!

Any of us doing that would be charged. Those involved in cutting a black powder rifle without first ensuring it was unloaded should also face charges. Total disregard for safety.. not to mention the little lie about anonymous forfeiture while cops write all the serial numbers down.. it's hilarious they don't even buy them anymore and instead call it a: "gun-giveback"..

"...contractors working with MGSC and the Old Orchard Beach Police Department failed to practice basic gun safety when they attempted to saw a loaded blackpowder rifle, which led to the negligent discharge of the firearm."

🤣

Huh, I never heard of this happening when benchmade was cutting up the guns.
