ITEM SOLD. This is a .308 Win. heavy bbl. I have an M1A that started as a standard model. In 1997, it was returned to SAI factory for conversion to Super Match configuration. Recently, I had SAI re-convert it back to standard configuration. This barrel was taken off when I had the rifle converted back to standard configuration. The bbl. has the thick op rod guide attached. The SAI paperwork from 1997 says it's an "air gauged Super Match heavy Douglas bbl." It's in excellent condition, chamber ramps pretty sharp, splines at muzzle are perfect. I don't think it's a very high round count bbl. I can't speak for the previous owner but I haven't fired it over 100 rounds since I bought it. The rifle itself didn't show much sign of use. Price $100. I prefer to sell it face-to-face so you can see what you're getting, bring your bore scope.
