LPVO Rifle Match

LPVO Match is 1-10x max scope or less.
Most people use gas guns, but bolt guns are ok, just more tricky.
Dynamic Infantry style. Multiple positions from prone to barriers to shooting on the move.
Targets from 25yd to 50yd (cardboard silhouette),
and steel plates from 100yd up to 285yd.
5 to 6 stages depending on time.
Generally less than 100 rounds
Sign in: 8:45 am up top at the rifle range
Zero check: 9 am; Bring your own paper target to zero with.
Match starts at 9:30am
All matches are non magnum calibers and shall not
exceed 3200 FPS. Center fire intermediate cartridge.
Matches are open to the public
$15.00 cash, only per participant

Damn, I missed this. How often do these events happen?

We have rifle matches every month on the 2nd Saturday of the month. LPVO matches are on the rotation about every 3 or 4 months. I will list more on the events calendar sooner this time as I am taking over as match director for these now.
The rest of the year is as follows:
Sept14th Precision rifle, gas gun is ok, higher magnification scope will be necessary but some do use an LPVO, but the targets are smaller.

October 12th Semi auto, similar to the precision rifle match , more movement and a higher round count

November 9th 22Lr, rimfire 22 only

December 14th LPVO

All the matches are pretty dynamic and will require some strength and good range of motion. These are not just sitting at a table and shooting.
We operate as a cold range during matches, so all weapons should be unloaded and bagged when approaching the shed. Bolts back and chambers empty when removed from their cases to be set on the rack or table please.
