Hi:
I'm going to see my dad he lives in Anacortes Wa and I'm looking for places to check out.So I'm looking around MT Vernon,Burlington,Whidbey island area.So tell me about pawn shops, gun stores places to go and maybe places
not to go.
I bought my GP100 at Yeager's and I really like the customer service there, they are very friendly and helpful IMO. Their reloading section is rather sparse but their firearm selection is pretty decent in my opinion. My next wheelgun will quite possibly be purchased there because of the way I was treated.
Kesselring's has a very large selection of just about everything firearms-related. Their customer service can be inconsistent but for the most part I've had very good service from them, sometimes outstanding. I bought my SIG there FWIW.
There's a new shop at the highway 20 exit, Skagit Firearms is attached to the new Holiday Sports building. It's right at the I-5/Highway 20 interchange. Not a huge selection but they have some interesting guns in stock. They even have some of the new S&W .22 AR clones.
+1 for Kesselrings. Full service gun shop. 3 gunsmiths on-site, lots of used long arms out where you can touch and feel, big stacks of ammo, lots and lots of accessories, lots of reloading. Not just a general sports store, but a gun store, since at least the 60's when I first saw it.
