A quality knife will outlast you. If it has plastic anywhere its not a quality knife.
Replying to myself. Shades of schizophrenia. I looked at my own 110+ Buck automatic EDC and realized the stocks ( is that right? ) are plastic. Never listen to me. That 330V is great steel FWIW.

He lives in Chicago and those are all the knives he has taken away from people who tried to rob him. . .
:)
My great grandfather was an L.A. county sheriffs deputee and had and entire wall covered with confiscated knives and a closet full of confiscated guns including a schnellfeuer mauser. First machinegun I ever shot...in the hills of Los Angeles. When he died his cop buddies came over and cleared the place out

Maserin made in Maniago Italy
Dangerously sharp and very concealable 🤣

Love my Honey Badger flipper medium size for EDC.
Lightweight, amazingly smooth to open & close, very reasonably priced for the quality in my opinion.

Benchmade for American made quality and support. If youre driving want something cheaper but still good quality, Kizer on tiktok are actually nice knives. Been super surprised with mine

It doesn't matter what I carry.
It's the one you're gonna use when you borrow it.

Seems like nobody carries a knife.
But everybody needs one.
A long while back I had a co-worker who was struggling to open some boxes and cut some bindings....
She asked if I had a knife....I let her borrow my pocket knife...when she was done....
She then asked : "Why do you carry a knife...? " o_O  :D

Years ago I had a co-worker on a job site ask to borrow a large screwdriver.
I let him have it and 30 minutes later a saw he was scraping concrete splatter off some metal forms.

The tip of the screwdriver was destroyed.

After that whenever anyone asks to borrow a knife or tool I always ask ''What are you using it for''?
About half the time I say no, but you can use this. [The right tool for the job]. Or I just say No.
