I need a locking pistol hard case. I need to check my handgun when I fly to texas. The case must have built in lock with key but combonation lock is ok too. Also a kimber factory case will do too if you have one laying around as a lot of folks had success traveling with those. Obviously needs to be padded. I am in portland/gresham. Shoot me a price and picture. Thanks 5038199920
I've never flown with a firearm, so I don't know the requirements, but I have one of those small document fire safes that may work. Key lock. Similar to this: http://www.sentrysafe.com/Products/166/0500_Fire_Chest It's yours for two raffle tickets ($20) from Oregon Firearms Federation, and you come to pick it up. http://www.oregonfirearms.org/slr-106-ak-rifle-raffle

Thanks all I would buy online but I rather support locally first. Thanks for the offer solvent but I don't think that's has foam in it.
No worries thank you though. I wished my factory case just had a slot for a lock...I guess I could put a padlock over the handle but I don't need the tsa to reject it for any reason...
I have just used a small pelican case with a combo padlock when I fly. You can usually find them on Craigslist, etc.
