The Slide looks refinished?

It's a new factory applied surface coating on the slide called Bruniton, which allegedly provides better corrosion resistance than the previous plain blued finish. It is different that old 92's or the old M9's. From what I can tell it works much better than the bluing on the M9 I carried in Military, and is certainly a tougher finish.
