So I was on the waiting list for these things for about a year and a half and it finally came in. I opted for the kit rather than the assembled 16" upper. It was very well thought out and the quality is spot on. They're pricey sure, but not compared to other belt fed uppers. Check them out!

No, I picked up the 12.5 barrel myself and had to drill a new gas port due to the altered gas tube location. They did include a jig for drilling the gas port and the dimples though...

Nice!

I am committed to getting a kit when they come back into stock.

Question- Any surprises crop up in assembly?

I have seen the tutorial L6 put out. Seems pretty straightforward.

Glad to see yours "Out in the wild".

Best regards.

No issues on the kit, assembling the upper took about 20 minutes. The longest part was drilling the gas port in the barrel. Be sure to grease the bubblegum out of it too... I bought the recommended grease off of Amazon

How reliable is it? Would you hang it above the bed?

Asking for a friend...
I plan to take it out this weekend so I'll let you know.... I know they've tested them on semi, super safe, FRT, and full auto so I imagine so. The feed pawls and other parts are factory SAW

Looking forward to hearing how it ran. Going to be great weather this weekend!

I watched the video on lubrication. Good info.

There is also a video out there where a guy uses several different ammo brands and loads. The upper didn't care. Honey Badger, lol!

Question- Have you come up with a WAG as to how many links to stockpile?

I'm on the notify list for when they get back in stock. Have not been this excited about a firearm in a long time!

I picked up about 5k links from a member here, and another 2k from RTG. I bought a linker from ebay for about a hundred bucks that does 10 at a time and it works very well

Thank you! That gives me a better idea of what I should stockpile should the unthinkable become reality.

I'm probably not going to shoot 10's of thousands of rounds through it, but it's always a good idea to get a rough estimate.

If we don't see a 7k round single belt burn down from you I think all of us here will be very disappointed.
