This is a fine example of a true classic from S&W. This is an earlier .38spl square butt version and it is in great condition. This is an excellent gun for the range or just a welcome addition to any S&W collection.

It is actually an iPhone which has a horrible camera...but the lighting was good and that makes the difference.

I do not believe these older guns are +p rated but a Smith tech told me that all their steel .38spl firearms will handle +p with no issues.

That would seem about right. I called S&W today and they said it can handle +P with ease.

The Mdl. 64 is the old Mdl. 10 in Stainless
this is the Heavy barrel

Which adds to the value, great camp gun, very durable
If i was to bid on it, i would not feel bad paying $325 to $375 range depending on lock up, condition of grooves, and my knowledge states that
the early Mdls of the Bangor Punta ownership
of S&W did have some timing/tuning problems that were a pain.
Even some would shed lead.

However, i am not bidding,
but if i was, after inspection, that would be a price range i would go home very happy with.
