By "scout", does this mean it is a long eye relief model?
Do you have the model number of the scope and the box?

yes, have all that somewhere, don't count on finding the box soon;
I bought it as EER but moved it closer to traditional mount location.
If you have good vision it should work either way.

What is the reticle?

Think the box says "Duplex" will have to check. It has the normal cross hairs plus a tiny illuminated red dot you can turn on/off as you wish.
