Let's make suppressors legal

    OK. I know that suppressors are already legal in most States if you jump through enough hoops. But the thread below isn't getting many views and even less responses.

    So I thought I'd try again using a title that might generate some interest.

    Below is a link to let your elected representatives know you support HR 3799 "The Hearing Protection Act". It automatically finds your reps and emails them. Yes, you have to enter your name, address and email info but I think it's worth it to try and do away with the silly tax stamp just to purchase a suppressor. There's an email "opt in" checkbox so it appears that our email won't be spammed. I checked it because I want to stay updated but I haven't gotten any emails from the ASA yet.

    Now I'll just wait and see how many guys don't read this and post to tell me that suppressors are ALREADY legal. :p

    Done. Although I wouldn't be surprised if they all have filters to send form letters like that straight to the spam folder. But I did it anyways, you never know!
