Kel-tec PMR-30 Slide modification

So I love my PMR, but I HATE the stock slide / difficulty of racking. I've fooked up both my hands (chopped off / mangled fingers) and this pistol is the one I struggle with. 1911s and all others are fine, but THIS one is a bi**h. There are NO effective aftermarket assists like there are for so many others.

So ...I bought one for a Glock and spent about an hour with a Dremel and a grinding wheel, and with some epoxy, I have an excellent finished product.

Someone needs to make / market one!

Jb weld and a dremel. You're my kind of people! I have a few projects going on right now as well. Sometimes you just gotta make it yourself. Haha

Who cares about the paint. At the end of the day it's just a tool.

For reference (and for anyone no wanting to do their own custom work) Farrow Tech makes an enhanced charging handle. They have a slightly different side charger for their brace kit.

If you don't mind burning money Farrow and M*Carbo are great vendors for upgrading your PMR30. I have bits from both. But you can easily double your spend on the gun with upgrades. Enhanced springs, feed ramps, mag release, etc. etc. etc. I forget what all I did to mine, but I do like it the way it is. It'll pop a possum or a cat just fine.

Amazon, " Pistol Slide Rack Assist" I have the "Pachmayer Rack Assist " $20 works great !! Many more are shown. Also if you have a PMR30 or CMR30 you NEED to look at " MCarbo" Total up grades for them. I spent the $$ to get both upgraded and well worth it !!

Yeah I bought a big one I ripped up to do a few guns. Fun finish to do that's easy, forgiving, inexpensive and fixable
