I have a pretty decent k98 german mauser.
barrel and receiver are numbers matching, thats about it.
it's a russian capture, but none of the nazi stamps have been touched by those pesky russians.
receiver markings are "243" for the factory, and it was made in 1938
the stock is laminated, and seems to retain some of the cosmoline from storage, but I douched the hell out of the bolt and the rest of the mechanicals.
bore is in good shape, as is the rifling.
this is a CAI import.
shoots great, looks awesome.
looking for trades of 8mm ammo, reloading supplies, 5.56 and 5.45 AR uppers, 44 magnum rifles and pistols, and also a browning hi-power or decent clone.
