The only AR part is the mag. I haven't seen a Daewoo for a long time.

Not true the FCG from ar15 will work in daewoos

u only need to push out one pin and the upper can be dismounted.
You can put the upper and lower into your bugout bag and head for
the woods (no one would know u are armed).

Actually, the K1 has a direct impingement system much like the AR15, while the later Daewoo K2 and the DR200 (the thumbhole stock rifle a couple of posts above) use a gas piston setup. Coupled with the fact the K1 uses STANAG mags and some compatible trigger parts, you could call it an AR derived rifle.

So, accordingly a Ruger M77 is a Bolt action Mauser and a Taurus M86 is a Smith and Wesson M10 revolver?

Nice Daewoo, but it is not an AR15 or an AR15 Variant (Just ask anyone in the Korean Army).
