I may get some more of this. It's sealed in metal cans. I can store the over flow in the attic if I want.

I just thought this was a novel idea. It;s the same price I usually get Hornaday American Gunner for. So, I thought WTF.

Although these are metal and more durable, I've vacuum sealed ammo in mason jars...

However, this gives me the idea although a bad idea to use my freeze dryer than can pull a vacuum, to vacuum seal an ammo can.

Only problem with that, I'd have to make a spring loaded contraption to put inside the freeze dryer to lift up on the lid while vacuum is pulled again to open it as the only way to open would be to let air back inside first.

I've used my vacuum sealer for years to seal ammo in. I seal it in the bags and then the bags go in the ammo cans for long term storage.

First started doing this when we were stationed in the south, humidity was/is rough on ammo/guns.

I dig the marketing fun behind this but I dont see how those prices are worth it nor any advantage to long term storage?

The website doesn't seem to work or update the price but as it shows, $72 for 60rds of 223 is $1.2/rd

I just thought it was funny and the ammo is the same price as what Imwas using. I will buy some for novelty gifts for my dad and son.
