I have an early Jon Christensen drop point hunter, 8.25" OAL, 4.5" blade. It's made of edge hardened 5160, has Koa scales on a tapered tang, with tan liners, brass rivets, guard and lanyard hole. Jon also made the sheath and the knife settles in with a distinctive "click". I spoke with Jon in his Montana shop, and he says it carries his lifetime warranty, and free sharpening/cleaning service.
