Well damn...
Joe was a great guy and one of the best guys in the business.
He knew his stuff , and always gave one a fair deal when trading , buying or selling.
I will miss seeing and talking with him at the gun show in Monroe.

I remember going into his shop right after it opened on main in Spfd. 2x4 racks and tons of parts, kits three deep on the shelves.
It was always an informative shop with clerks there to inform and "covert" while making you welcome and feel part of the sport.

He will be missed in the BPcommunity

Sad news, and wish I'd seen this sooner. I've known Joe for decades through our mutual interest in collecting antique firearms. Rarely passed through Springfield without detouring off I5 to go to Joe's and visit. He's been absent from some big collector gun shows lately, so wondered how he was doing.
Sad to hear of his passing. I will miss him.
