Big Day today!

You probably didn't know this about me, but I am a bit of a nerd! (If you didn't, you haven't been paying attention!). Had relative in Florida and spent a lot of time around NASA in central FL. What's big news down there is fairly unknown elsewhere.

But today NASA will be releasing the first images coming from the James Webb telescope project which now sits 1,000,000 miles away from earth and is taking pictures far out into deep space. They will be released at 10:30 ET today (7-12-22). If interested, go to the link below then.

For perspective, the first pic was released last night. That is on there now. It's said that if you had a grain of sand sitting on your fingertip and your arm extended that that is the picture you see. That is how big our universe is. Stunning pictures that are hard to believe. Show to your kids and maybe light a fire like we who grew up in the 50s-60s did as we reached the moon. This telescope is 4 times farther away from the Earth than our moon is.

You cannot be too busy to check these out once published. These will be a huge leap forward in efforts to look farther into space.

Anyway, I did tell you I was a bit of a nerd! Hope you will be one too after seeing the pictures.

UPDATE-- GO TO THAT LINK >> GO TO DOWNLOADS>> THEN ABOVE THE PICTURE WILL BE PICS OF THE FIRST IMAGES
