I Recently inherited a Japanese type 30 bayonet, and scabbard from my grand father. He told me he brought this back from WW2 with him.

From what i could tell It is marked for Toyoda Automatic Loom Works. Blued contoured bird's head pommel and button release. Serial number (17012). The natural wooden grips are fixed with slotted screws. The late war, blued, straight, contoured double cross guard has a flat tip to one end and a circular muzzle guide to the other. It has a 39.5cm fullered, blued blade. The first pattern sheet metal scabbard, with a ball tip.

I am selling to try and put some fund together to take my wife and son to yellow stone this summer. I have seen these all over on eBay from 150-600. I have also seen a few others on CL and one one a military collectors sites for around 200. I know mine is not in pristine condition so I feel fair asking 75 OBO for it.

pics are on PB page sorry i ran outta room.

thanks for looking.
