Hi everyone.
Up for sale is this Russian Izhmash Saiga 223. Imported into the USA by the Russian American Armament Company. Manufactured by Izhmash in Russia (currently called Kalashnikov Concern). This is an awesome true blue Russian AK, chambered in 5.56 and the perfect counter to the Russian ammo bans. This rifle started as a "sporter" Saiga 223, and was professionally converted by Weapon Genetics in Tomball, TX back to its AK-101/102 glory.
The rifle was professionally pin and welded to 14.5" with a jmac keymo brake, professionally installed jmac gbc-13 adjustable gas block, laser engraved Russian safety markings, and cerakoted black. Threads are concentric and the rifle is suppressor ready, I've paired it to my sandman-k and it shoots like a dream suppressed.
I took a lot of inspiration from Henry over at 9-hole reviews and his famous AK Niner. If you're looking for an NATO AK in 5.56 that actually works (looking at you PSA), in addition to it being an actual true blue Russian import, look no further. It will come with one 30 round Surefire 5.56 magazine. The polymer handguard and folding m4 stock adapter are both made by dlg, and it has a Magpul grip and Magpul MOE stock. Trigger is a stock PSA trigger.
The round count is roughly 200 rounds. All work was professionally done by Weapon Genetics as stated, and no shortcuts were taken. If you have any questions at all please don't hesitate to reach out.
