Currently in Germany visiting my daughter and my military son-in-law.
Ive got a few gun stores in my sights to check out. With the tight laws they have, Im surprised they have as many as they do.

Id love to find something to bring back, but with the laws in place, it wont happen.

Also hitting a few other countries. Switzerland seems to have a few stores as we

Welcome to Europe! You can also visit CZUB in Prague. We are neighbors.

Ive hit a couple gun stores. First one was in Limburg. No English and all guns/ammo locked up tight. Nice room full of guns from what I could see through the bars.
2nd store was in Mainz and nice store. Had one guy who spoke good English. He did take me upstairs to the gun room. Mostly hunting guns snd few pistols but some nice stuff. Suppressors are sold only for hunting rifles, not for pistols. He said ARs are un- heard of for the most part.
Both stores had air stuff on display and some nice pistols that shoot blanks. I guess people buy them to shoot fireworks and pepper spray.

Most countries are extremely firearms restrictive, including most of Europe.

My understanding is that only the Czech Republic comes close to the freedoms we enjoy in most of America.

Then IIRC Switzerland (for those who have served in their armed forces).

I read upon on it before going over but still wanted to look.
I will be in Switzerland next week so I will check it out there as well.

Oh yah, I'd imagine that there are still some fantastic shops in European countries. Including Germany. Just that "regular" folks can't buy anything.

It would be neat-o to handle a nice drilling or similar tho where it was made…

Look for norlite Glock conversions. Great option for WA residents and perhaps Oregon in the future. Great option for cz-75 or Glock owners.

Stop by the Frankonia Weiterstadt store in Darmstadt if you're going to be anywhere near Frankfurt. Amazing place with some astounding hardware.

Buying guns isn't terrible in Germany but for non hunting stuff you mostly need to leave it at the range in lockup. You can shoot there but thats about it.

If you make your way down to Switzerland, check out the B&T factory/shop in Thun. I've never been, but it's supposed to be an amazing shop. If you're lucky, they'll show you around the factory too.
